Partnership Will Equip Government, Industry and Academic Leaders with Skills to Drive Innovation and Boost Regional Competitiveness in New Tech Age

Washington, DC — The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue announced today a new strategic partnership with Oakwise, a Mexico-based consulting firm with coverage in all Latin American and Caribbean countries. Through this collaboration, Oakwise personnel will receive preferred access to the Krach Institute’s Tech Diplomacy Academy, a first-of-its-kind, scalable online education platform designed to equip professionals at the intersection of technology, business, policy and global commerce, and help the firm propel values-based digital transformation, improve quality of life and enhance competitiveness in the Western Hemisphere.
“Trusted tech is gaining ground in Latin America, and it’s time to seize momentum,” said Michelle Giuda, CEO of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue. “As the global stakes rise, we’re partnering with Oakwise to deliver the training, education and tools for tomorrow’s leaders in the region to build a prosperous future powered by freedom, trust and innovation.”
“We believe Latin America can lead in the adoption of technologies that are not only innovative but trustworthy and aligned with democratic values,” said Alessio Hagen, Oakwise CEO. “Our collaboration with the Tech Diplomacy Academy is a powerful step toward making that vision a reality.”
The Krach Institute-Oakwise alliance marks a significant milestone in shaping the future of technology in Latin America, establishing a model for how strategic partnerships can drive prosperity, security, and innovation on a global scale. The collaboration will also deepen academic engagement by supporting regional universities in integrating cutting-edge tech policy and innovative content into their curricula, preparing a new generation of leaders to navigate the intersection of technology, business and national security in a new technologically driven landscape.
The partnership will also focus on empowering change agents within organizations to lead digital transformation through the adoption of reliable and secure technologies. By supporting organizational change, policy alignment and public-private cooperation, the initiative aims to cultivate resilient, forward-looking, and competitive innovation ecosystems throughout the region.
