Our Mission
The Tech Diplomacy Academy was founded by the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue University to equip leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to secure freedom in the new technology age.
Technology now determines who holds power, how nations stay secure, and which economies thrive. Yet many leaders lack training to connect today’s and tomorrow’s technologies—such as AI, semiconductors, 5G/6G, and quantum computing—to real-world decisions in diplomacy, policy, and economic strategy. This gap leads to weaker security, slower innovation, fragmented standards, and diminished protections for privacy and freedom.
The Tech Diplomacy Academy closes that gap through fast, scalable learning. Our 1-hour, online, on-demand courses make critical and emerging technologies easy to understand and provide practical strategies to manage risks, seize opportunities, and ensure technology advances freedom.
The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy drives the adoption of trusted technologies by educating business leaders, policymakers, and citizen leaders; advancing initiatives like the Global Trusted Tech Standard; and uniting like-minded countries, companies, and civil society through the Global Trusted Tech Network.
